Šumava route packed with adventure/From bison to trail

If you don't mind longer climbs and take delight in unusual views of Lipno, set off on a new cycle path along Čertovy proudy to Vyšší Brod. Even though you will go gently downhill for the first two kilometres and admire the gorgeous Vltava riverbed, this route will also take you to the peaks. From Vyšší Brod you will climb slowly but for a long time through Přířez and Malšín up to Hodslavský vrch. When going downhill, you should stop at the adjacent fence. Who would have expected to meet bison in Lipno? The prize for one virtually endless hill will be a long downhill ride from Kramolín back to Loučovice.
