route description

Your children will be looking forward to this trip since the evening before because it will take you on the trail of the ancient legend of the origin of Čertova stěna [Devil's Wall]. And what is more, it's mostly downhill. First, you will enjoy the beautiful cycle path along the Vltava from Loučovice to Vyšší Brod. You won't have to climb the hill back to the Lipno dam since a train will take you there together with your bikes (including a baby carriage) and during the journey, you can admire the stone sea of Čertova stěna and the world-famous Čertovy proudy [Devil's Streams]. The last stretch from the dam will have you cycle along the opposite shore of the Lipno dam to the cyclo-ferry in Frýdava, where you will cross back to Frymburk.
