Vítkův kámen

The ruins of the Gothic castle Vítkův kámen [Vítek's Stone] should be a mandatory destination of every several-day holiday in the Lipno region. When the weather allows, in addition to the splendid views of the Lipno Dam, you can enjoy the views of the other side of the border, and with good visibility, the Austrian Alps appear in the distance. The return journey from Loučovice leads on the cycle path along the upper part of Čertovy proudy, a regular venue of the Czech championships in water slalom, downhill and rafting.
